CELLAR NOTICES
Our Topsham Cellar winter opening times (Christmas until Easter) are as follows:
Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:30pm till 9:30pm.
Please note our vineyard tours will start from early June, taking bookings from Easter.

PEBBLEBED 2010 WINES
We have released our new still wines (rose, white and a "summer" red) from the excellent 2010 harvest - we have had some very positive comments - usual Pebblebed style - as an Italian master sommelier who visited us recently commented - "wine with pleasure"!
Also our new sparkling wines are drinking very well! - according to Suzy Atkins (Telegraph wine correspondent).
DRAGONS DEN PROJECT - PEBBLEBED PARTNER VINEYARDS
New vineyard is coming on well - many of the vines are "out" of the vine tubes and the sown clover sword is now established. Next task the trellising! - please see our "diary" for more information.

PEBBLEBEDS NEW WINERY - NATURAL WINE PRODUCTION!
We feel extremely lucky to have been able to acquire Marianne Pool Farm adjacent to our Clyst St George Vineyard. Wine tanks now stand in the old diary and we hope to have the winery ready for the 2012 harvest. - more information
Exeter Food Festival
It was a mad weekend - starting with our fizz flowing for the Royal wedding at 10am on the Friday and continuing in party mode for 3 days! thanks to chef Michael Caines and the organisers for all their hard work. Now looking forward to next year!
International Vineyard "twinning" project
We are progressing an idea to have an informal connection with a traditional vineyard in each of the wine growing areas of the world - This has come out of having had visits and wine tastings from a number of tradtional wine makers from around the world over the last few years in our Topsham Cellar - the idea being our "friends of Pebblebed/club Vino" members will get a warm welcome when visiting abroad and vice versa! Perhaps exchanging wines and having tastings of wines with a "story"!
We hope to explore this further over the next few months.
Introduction to Pebblebed
Pebblebed Vineyards are located near Topsham, Exeter in Devon in South West England. Our producing vineyards are managed in an environmentally sensitive way and our wines regularly win awards in national and regional competitions. We have a tasting cellar near the quay in Topsham which welcomes people to try Pebblebed wines and a range of Devon and imported wines and local tapas. From the start we have very much enjoyed sharing our passion for growing grapes and making wine in Devon and we hope the information on the following pages is of interest.
